Ballet:

Preschool Ballet: 3-4 year olds (commencing Kindergarten in 2025 or 2026).

Pre-Primary: Kindergarten-aged (commencing Kindergarten in 2024, 5 years old)

Primary: Students who did Pre-Primary in 2023, or new students who are in Year 1 at school (6 years old)

Grade 1: Students who did Primary in 2023, or new students who are in Year 2 or above at school (7-8 years old)

Grade 2: Students who did Grade 1 in 2023, or new students who are in Year 3 or above at school (8-9 years old)

Grade 4: Students who did Grade 3 in 2023, or new students who are in Year 5 or above at school (9-10 years old)

Grade 5: Students who did Grade 4 in 2023, or new students who are in Year 6 or above at school (10-11 years old)

After Grade 5, students move on to Intermediate Foundation and Grade 6, followed by Intermediate and Grade 7 > Advanced Foundation and Grade 8 > Advanced 1 > Advanced 2.

 

Jazz (based on their ballet class age, see above):

Junior: Pre-Primary - Grade 2 

Intermediate: Grades 3-5

Senior: Vocational students (Intermediate Foundation and above)

 

Acro:

Junior: Ages 5-7, and 8 year-olds who are brand new to acro.

Intermediate: Ages 8-11 (OR students who have been asked to move up a level from Junior Acro)

Senior: For Vocational students (IF+)

It is strongly suggested (by us, and by Acrobatic Arts whose Syllabus we teach) that Acro students also take a dance class each week. We suggest either a ballet class or Junior Jazz (which is conveniently right in between Junior and Inter Acro on the timetable).

Tap:

Level 1: For Pre-Primary - Grade 2 who are brand new to tap

Level 2: For those who did their Level 1 Exam in 2023

Level 5: For those who did Level 4 in 2023

Level 6: For those who did Level 5 in 2023

 

Lyrical & Contemporary:

Intermediate: Grades 2-5 Ballet

Senior: For Vocational students (IF+)

 

Musical Theatre:

Grade 5 Ballet and up (approx. ages 10+).

 

Stretch & Conditioning:

Junior: Grades 2-5

Senior: For Vocational students (IF+)

 

Troupe (Performance Team):

Junior: 8/u (ages 6-8 as at 1 January 2024)

Intermediate: 12/u (ages 9-12 as at 1 January 2024)

Senior: 13 yrs + (or by invitation if younger)

-Please note: Ballet is a prerequisite for joining troupe (meaning you must also be enrolled in at least 2 ballet classes per week for 2024).

-Minimum age: Primary Ballet and above (6yo).
